Community Update; May 24, 2024

Hello everyone! Here are your weekly updates:
- This Monday, May 27th is Memorial Day, a federal holiday. No work or deliveries are permitted on federal holidays. Please make sure to notify your vendors. (*This does not include house cleaning, nannies and the like)
- REMINDER: The Safety training is scheduled for this coming Wednesday, May 29th at 4:30pm in the Community Room. For those of you unable to attend, I will have handouts from the meeting to provide to you.
- On June 4th Rarified Air will be on-site to complete an inspection to certify that our building is asbestos free. Currently, we pay to have the walls tested every time we have to cut drywall. These tests always come back negative, as the building was built after asbestos was being used in building materials. This certification will mean we no longer need to pay to have these tests completed. You will be able to use this certification as well should you have work done in your unit that requires the cutting of drywall (*There are some restrictions). In order to obtain the certification, we need four volunteers from each floor (2 on the Columbia side & 2 on the India side) to allow Rarified Air to enter your unit and take a drywall sample. This sample will be taken from the backside of the drywall, accessing it behind an electrical outlet. If you are willing to volunteer your unit on this day please let me know as soon as possible. They will be on-site all day so we can try to work around your schedule.
