Community Update; May 31, 2024
Dear Watermark Community,
Hello everyone! Here are your weekly updates:
- We still need volunteers for the asbestos clearing inspection this Tuesday, June 4th. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board near the elevators. This inspection will provide a report certifying that the building is clear of asbestos and testing will no longer be necessary when we need to cut into drywall. This will certify the drywall within your unit also and cut down on HOA expenses.
- Thank you to all who participated in the Safety Training and Fire Drill. Now we know how loud that alarm is!!! For those of you who were unable to attend, there are handouts available on the bulletin boards for you to take. Please reach out with any questions, I am available to review any of the information from the training.
- Sunday, June 2nd is the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. The course does not travel near the building, however the finish line is in the surrounding area. Please allow time in your schedule to navigate through any extra traffic and/or detours.
- The Board is meeting on June 11th. If you have items you need them to review at that meeting, please submit them to me by June 4th so I can make certain they are included on the agenda. This might include Architectural Improvement Requests or general correspondence.
- Housekeeping Reminders
- Please make sure you are only recycling the items permitted by San Diego. We have signs posted near the bin & I have flyers for those who’d like them.
- Please return the shopping carts after you use them. In an attempt to be able to locate missing carts, we have added a cart locator device to them. We hope this will assist with having carts available when you and your neighbors need them.
