Community Update – 7/29/22

July 29, 2022

Dear Residents,
Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

1.     Board Meeting Date Change – the board meeting has been changed to Wednesday, August 17th at 6:00pm. It will be held in the Community Room and Via Zoom.
2.     Plant Pesticide – BrightView will be treating plants with snail bait on Tuesday, August 2^nd. Please exercise caution with your pets.
3.     5^th Floor Bathroom Tile – will be cleaned on Wednesday, August 3rd between 8am – 12pm. The bathrooms will be closed during this time.
4.     Community Room – the stone tables will be cleaned on Wednesday, August 3^rd between 8am – 12pm. The tables will need to dry, please do not use the tables for 24 hours.

1. 4^th of July Holiday – Monday, July 4^ththe Management office will be closed. Call 1-800-400-2284 for a maintenance emergency. As a reminder there is no work is permitted on the holiday, please notify your contractors.

Dear Residents, Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

1. Juneteenth Day – Monday, June 20^th. As a reminder there is no work is permitted on the holiday, please notify your contractors.
2. Recycle Bin – please remember to flatten all boxes, the small ones also to help minimize overflow. Waste Management charges $150.00 for bin overflow. Thank you.
3. Manager Vacation – from 6/23 – 6/26. Please contact Community Care at 1-800-400-2284 in the event of a maintenance emergency.

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

1. Memorial Day – Monday, May 30th the Management office will be closed. Call 1-800-400-2284 for a maintenance emergency. As a reminder there is no work is permitted on the holiday, please notify your contractors.
2. Marble Floor Polishing – scheduled for Wednesday, June 1stduring the night on the Columbia side. Please use caution during this time.
3. In Unit Fire Sprinkler Repairs – scheduled for June 15^th – 17^th, those units in need of repairs have been contacted via mail.

1. Carpet Cleaning – will take place on the Columbia side on May 4^th from 8:30am-5:30pm. Please exercise caution when stepping onto the floor from the carpet.

Dear Residents,
Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

Garage Exit Repairs – the Southwest garage exit (near trolley) will not be available for ingress or egress on Wednesday, April 20th due to some necessary repairs. We kindly request that you use another entrance until Thursday, April 21st.
Lobby Entrance Brick – there will be some grout repair work at both lobby entrances performed on Wednesday, April 20th. Please exercise caution in this area during repair work.

1. Bike Storage Cage – as a reminder please identify your bicycle in the bike storage cage by April 29^th.
2. Power Outage – there was a power outage on Sunday, April 10^th affecting several blocks downtown. All emergency backup systems functioned properly. Additionally, the security person on duty was in contact with Management throughout the outage and stood watch at the top of the garage ramp. As a reminder during an outage, use the Security Cell Phone (619) 840-9367.

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

Annual Meeting – Thank you to those who participated via Zoom and in person and to all who turned in their ballots, we established quorum. We would like to thank the homeowner who volunteered as Inspector of Election: Mark Cujak. Congratulations to John Gowan, Laserik Saunders, and Joan Wojcik on their re-election to the board. Official Results have been posted and are attached.

Directory Listing Form – please complete the Directory Listing form for the Directory if you have any changes. Please respond by Thursday, March 31^st. Please pick one up form at the Security Desk. You can also send an email to the manager “no changes” so we do not think we missed your form.

What is the Directory Book? – For residents that are new to our building this is a Directory Book that is published periodically and distributed amongst residents at Watermark that contains your Name, Unit Number, Phone Number, and Email. This is a great way to communicate and provide your contact information in the event of an emergency. This is a voluntary inclusion.

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

Presidents’ Day, February 21^st– as a reminder there is no work permitted on the holiday, please notify your contractors.
Plant Pesticide – BrightView will be spraying the plants on Tuesday, February 22^nd. Please exercise caution with your pets.
In Unit Mandatory Fire Sprinkler Inspection – scheduled for Tuesday, February 22^nd and Wednesday, February 23^rd from 9am-4pm. Please contact Management if you are unable to be home for this and would like to arrange for permission to enter. A staff member will accompany the inspector. Please see schedule attached or on bulletin board.
Window Cleaning – will be scheduled the week of February 28^th – March 4^th. Screens must be removed February 27^th. Map will be posted soon.
Horizontal Sewer Jetting – scheduled for (3/8, 3/10, 3/15, 3/17) please remember that cars must be moved by 8:30am on the day your parking area will be jetted. No water shut offs will be approved on these dates. Map will be posted soon.

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

Marble Floor Polishing – scheduled for Friday, February 4thduring the night on the Columbia side. Please use caution during this time.
Entire Building Water Shut Off – we have some main line plumbing repairs that were not completed. Thursday, February 10^th from 9am – 1pm. We will contact residents directly for any cars that need to be moved.

Trash and Recycle – On Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays please hold your trash and recycle materials until 10:00am. Dumpsters are usually returned from the street at that time.
