Community Update- General

Dear Residents,

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

  1. Planter Testing – The Market Street Courtyard rear planter testing will begin on January 8th.
  2. Christmas Holiday – Monday, December 25th as a reminder there is no work permitted on the holiday, please notify your contractors. Vendors may work on Tuesday, December 26th.
  3. Christmas Holiday – Management office will be closed on Friday, December 22nd and Monday, December 25th. Please call 1-800-400-2284 for a maintenance emergency.
  4. Have a wonderful Holiday!

Dear Residents,

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

  1. Exterior Repairs – Repairs are underway. Please be aware you may experience some noise during these repairs.  You may notice some red marks on the building, these were placed there to indicate some stucco repairs.
  2. Planter Testing – The Market Street Courtyard rear planter testing has been postponed until after the holidays.
  3. Shopping Carts – Please be considerate of your neighbors and return the carts to the garage immediately after use. This is especially important during the busy holiday season.
  4. Christmas Trees The elevator pads will be in place over the weekend of December 9th and 10th in order to allow transport of trees. Please use elevators that are padded to transport trees. In order to help eliminate excess debris we ask that trees are bagged or wrapped when transporting them.

  3. Recycle Bins – Package delivery season is upon us. Please flatten cardboard and paperboard before placing in the recycle bins.
  4. Holiday Party – Reminder that the Annual Watermark Holiday Party is Saturday, December 2nd from 4pm – 7pm in the 5th Floor Community Room.

Community Update - Holiday Gift Fund

Dear Watermark Resident:

The Holiday Season is approaching and it is time, once again, to have our annual donation drive for our Security and Cleaning Staff. In past years over 75% of the Watermark Residents have been most generous in providing a little more “Holiday Cheer” for our employed staff. Your continued generosity will be very much appreciated.

Past gifts have generally ranged between $100 and $150, but any amount you deem appropriate will be very much appreciated. The gifts are apportioned based on the full time or part time status of each employee during the past year. Please make your checks payable to FRANCIS WILSON and deliver to the Security Desk in a sealed envelope or you can mail to my residence at 655 India St. #122 by Wednesday, December 13th so we can distribute the gifts on Friday, December 15th. Please DO NOT make checks payable to the Watermark Association as this is a gift from the residents, not the Association.

A successful donation effort will add a little more joy to the Holiday Season for all!

Community Update - Manager Departure

Dear Watermark Residents,

It is with mixed emotions that I write this note, but I will be moving on as the General Manager of Watermark as I have been promoted within my organization. I am excited to start on the next step in my career, but sad to leave Watermark as I have worked here over the past five years and have treated it like my home. My last day will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017, but will still remain with my current company.  I have enjoyed working here and getting to know each and every one of you! I will miss Watermark and grateful for the friendships I have made along the way.

Starting on November 27th, Tracy Hanson will be the interim General Manager and will be working in the Watermark Management office. Tracy has been working with me over the past few days to become familiar with the building and Watermark’s standard of excellence.

Community Update - Exterior Building Repairs

Dear Residents,

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

  1. Exterior Building Repairs – exterior planter repairs will be completed in four (4) Phases. Phase 1 will begin on the India Street side and will start on November 27th. The work will consist of the landscapers removing soil, vegetation, and irrigation lines in the raised planters. The contractor will be waterproofing the planters and repairing the stucco. Each phase will take approximately 3-4 weeks to repair. The soil will be replaced, new irrigation lines will be installed, and new plants will be planted once the planters have been repaired. We will provide updates as needed. 
  1. Exterior Building Caulking – we will begin to caulk the decorative capstone that runs along the building as a decorative border on November 27th. This work will take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete. Please be aware that workers will be using a rolling scaffold and will be at the 1st Floor patio level caulking the decorative stone.

Community Update - Planter Testing

Dear Residents,

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

  1. Testing in Market St Courtyard – there will be some planter testing in the Market Street Courtyard. The soil will be removed from the North rear planter between Thursday, December 7th and Friday, December 8th. The soil will be stored in the courtyard while the testing is conducted.

The testing will take place between Monday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 12th.

Please avoid this area and we ask that you do not disturb the testing areas. Please be aware that water may leak into the garage as a result of this. We will be asking specific homeowners that may be affected to move their vehicles during the testing period if they wish to do so.


Community Update - 2018 Directory Book

Dear Residents,

Just a brief update on things happening here at Watermark

  1. Directory Listing Form – please complete the Directory Listing form for the Directory Book if you have any changes. The books will be completed in early January. Please respond by Friday, December 15th. Please pick up a form at the Security Desk.

 What is the Directory Book? – For residents that are new to our building this is a Directory Book that is published annually and distributed amongst residents at Watermark that  contains your Name, Unit Number, Phone Number, and Email. This is a great way to communicate and provide your contact information in the event of an emergency. Thank you!
